If not Dimma ....who ?
« on: March 03, 2016, 06:08:45 PM »
Who would you like to be coaching Richmond at the start of the 2017 season.

Give names people. Put your male appendage on the line.

Who can take us to September glory ? Is securing his services a realistic option ?

Personally I think Richmond is primed to advance past the Elimination final stage and Dimma will still be there in 12 months.

Best coach: Clarkson. Has the runs on the board.

Now if Dimma actually won at least 1 final and even better 2, I would be more than happy for him to still be coach.

Dream: Clarkson or Hinkley

Realistic: Nathan Basset

I think Thompson would do better job than Hardwick - wasn't a fan but between the stoned weirdness on AFL 360 he showed some good insight into the club,  how we're viewed by opposition clubs and what he would say & do if he was in charge  - things that rang true & resonated with me.

There's other contenders like Lloyd, Ayres, Collins

Would like Ling as an assistant and I hope we're into Hodge when he retires.

We also  need new fitness & medical staff IMO , but most importantly, we need new list managers.

Personally,  I think I'm primed to advance pass 3rd base with Ariana Grande this year, but hey.....

We need to change the entire coaching panel.
Not just Dora Hardwit
Caracella and Balmey.

Do we have a selection panel who can find a decent coach. Or do we have no faith that we can find anyone better than dimma

Not the Dopey Diver - his brother Simon, ex-Freo assistant now at Geelong. Highly rated in AFL circles.
