We are in big big trouble peoples  :(
Why?
Actually I think that we have some good players that are not getting a chance (e.g. Butler). Hopefully they will now be forced to give them a chance and like last Thursday's match, end up being some of our better players. :pray
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

... the Tigers are hopeful Ivan Maric will be cleared to play after he missed the Blues game with a back injury.

We really get smacked in contested marks around the ground and with Maric out its noticeably worse which really hurts us and as we know Hamspud couldnt catch a cold.

Unfortunately we dont have any depth when it comes to big man marking presence around the ground. I know its a long shot but could Chol if upgraded do any worse than the spud based on Thursday night or even McBean for that matter where we might might do a bit of a reshuffle with Vickery and Griffiths? I honestly think having the spud in the side is essentially the equivalent to playing with one player short because the only place he can rest is the bench.

You would think against the Pies that their strategy would be to play man on man and force us to kick long to a contest which on most occasions will lead to a Pies mark. Hardwick needs to come up with a gameplan that counters this, am I hoping for too much?

Maybe he can ask Clarkson for some advice, don't reckon he or his support staff have any answers to this if, but & maybe list.
The 7 years, unlimited support, abundant resources & 70,000+ members but STILL to many ???????? & STILL not a certainty to play finals.  :banghead :banghead

Raise the standard, take a stand, put everyone in the side on notice, drop the captain for rubbish footy!
The club that keeps giving.

Would think it's pretty inherent why. In between over rating players on the park and the unlikely impact our butlers and the like will have against a well resourced  Collingwood coaching and recruitment machine, well be lucky to get within 5-6 goals and that's if we are 'on'.

Look very similar to us against the Blues, we came away with a win, cant see the Pies getting close.

Ummmm to be quite frank the Pies look like absolute garbage

The only issue is they will get a rocket up them and be fired up next week

So should we based on our performance Thursday night, am sure Hardwick had a bit to say much like it was a loss anyway.
