Vfl today

A rabble. Virtually nothing to like. Lennon did a few nice things as did Morris. Elton has no idea and McBean a passenger. Getting whipped end of first q

Just horrible!

Lennon our best by a mile. Structually terrible and very Frawley like. No systems etc. Benny Hillish

From all reports we got thumped. Butler, Chol and Elton best. Elton moved forward to provide a key target as McBean is far from that..........

Why is this such a struggle for us to get this team right?
The club that keeps giving.

20.7 to 8.9 was the final score.  :thumbsdown

Richmond totally incompetent. If we are ever going to introduce quality football we need a great VFL team. The fact that we are satisfied with pathetic seconds makes it inevitable that those who play in the afl will be poohouse is understandable.  Our recruiters are hopeless.

There was only one highlight for the game and that was Lennon. By far our best player and the only AFL standard RFC listed player yesterday.

Of course, Hardwick won't play him.

Chol showed glimses of pure talent. One thing that really anoyed me was the St Kilda coach  Richardson was in the stands laughing at how bad we were as was everybody else. We have great club, great facilities now and plenty of money yet we are an amatuer outfit in the football dept.

Also, did Chaplin play?

No-one cares. Club is rife with injuries. Players are in the seniors filling the holes & these players came from guess where. The VFL side is always the one which will suffer. Players who fill in at VFL level & never played together are expected to be champions  :snidegrin Punt road oval with furious Tiger supporters is very intimidating  :snidegrin
