Firstly I don't have that choice.
Secondly, did you actually read what I wrote? I said Daniher was rated as number 1 but he was a F/S so he slid to the bombers. I also said players like him take longer to develop and so I would have expected him to come on more slowly than Vlastuin.

It's an easily answerable hypothetical.

I'll take that as a no you'd prefer Daniher unless you correct me that it's a yes you'd prefer Vlastuin.

What's your decision?
Daniher. Happy with Vlastuin though. Maybe our next captain.

Happy but you'd trade him. And trade a future captain. Right.OK.

Kids got mettle, don't doubt his courage and toughness - but Im one of the few that thinks his performances need to get better, dont think he does enough and think hes capable of a lot more.

Interesting on all the comments about unleashing him into the midfield so he can play his natural game. Is he a natural midfielder? He played HB and BP in his final tac cup season.

If he is to be our next captain, I'd be practicing my set shots at goal if I was him or he is stuffed. Apparently that's how you judge the leadership of your in and under midfield captain.  :whistle :cheers

You obviously didn't understand the context of my answer. If I was choosing from the draft that year, I would have picked Daniher, if he was available. I'm not saying I'd trade Vlastuin now. He is a Richmond man now. He is not on my trade table.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

It appears Flossy is stuck in a back-pocket rather than the midfield because we have no other small options back in defence with Morris now on the outer because he isn't up to it.

Flossy actually had two brain-fades last Friday night but only the deliberate one near the end of the game was focussed on by the media. With 30 seconds to go in the 3rd quarter and with us just needing to maintain possession, he kicked across half-back straight to a Collingwood player who ran in and missed. So we went into the 3/4 time huddle five points up instead of six, and that gifted point to the Pies ended up being the final margin.

4 disposals in 63 minutes of footy. There's your first rounder and future captain

What makes people so sure he'll get it in midfield?

Doesn't strike me as a high possession player.

I wanted Grundy at the time....

Which is a direct comparison - unlike a father/son pick.....

Come on all he could pick was two duds so he had to think of a third whether it was reasonable or not

That was the knock on him when he was a junior. Just was never a high accumulater.
