"Cream on the Top"
« on: April 16, 2016, 02:19:11 PM »
Who are these "cream on the top" players that Hardwick was alluding to during the recruitment/trade/free agency period??

Yarran??
Townsend??

Who are these masked men that will be propelling us to the holy grail?

I think Hardwick was referring to shooting his cream onto his players.

To give Dimma his due, IF Yarran and Deledio and Maric had played all 4 games we would be 2/2 or 3/1.  We would still have lost to the Weagles but it would have been a much more honorable loss.  Finding Lambert has been cream on the cake.  Miles falling off has been adding salt to the mix.

Means nothing.

It's the lack of depth that uktimately kills us where as other clubs always manage to continue while missing star players.
That's what a professional, successful football team does. They deal with life and get on with it.

The whole thing is a mess

Adam Marcon

23 disposals, six clearances, four tackles, two goals

He’s been the most consistent AFL player for a number of weeks. He had 23 disposals, 13 contested, four tackles and he kicked two goals as well. If we had more “Adam-type” players it would be good for us.
