:banghead how good is this guy? His another Judd
I think you have hit the nail unknowingly on the head.
Judd has been a mentor for this guy, telling him how hard to train, where to position himself, where to run and when to run. I hear he still is mentoring him.

So, having one of the best ever teaching you directly must help your development.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Judd should be our midfield coach. Should be into Bartel as well once Geelong tap him on the shoulder.

Ling & Hodge too...get 'em all, pay the minnow club welfare tax.....

He slipped to 13, a lot of clubs stuffed up, we just happened to have the pick preceding. Lennon is/will be a very solid player. He's playing up a bit from what I hear, wont do the hard yards. If thats the case, I fully support the club/coaching panel by not picking him consistently.

You can't drop Lloyd for a few weeks after his game vs Sydney

They only other spot is short

Is drop grigg and re-jig it to accommodate the beautiful kick that is Lennon
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

"JUST HAPPENED" lol

We just happened to pick Fiora over Pavlich.

We just happened to pick Tambling over Franklin

We just happened to kick into the wind Against Port in the EF in 2014.

Just happened.

Just happened. Just did.

My point is its made all the more poignant because we had the exact preceding pick. 9 other clubs are kicking themselves as well. Collingwood took Freeman (no longer on their list) and Scharenberg (hasn't played a game for the club yet, nursing another acl) before Cripps.

Why bring other clubs into it? And who gives a crap what other clubs do unless they're winning premierships?
It only matters what we do and how we do it to be a better team than we've always been. Just because other clubs fail doesn't mean the recruiters should feel vindicated as they weren't the only ones.

To improve as a team you just can't accept missing players like Fyfe or Cripps. This also highlights the ineptitude of the current recruiters and current development team to make potentially good players not just fulfill their potential but surpass it.

I accept the decision to draft Lennon. We need someone with elite kicking who can play high half forward and rotate through the middle because Lids isn't going to do it forever.

And also for all we know, Cripps would have only played 10 senior games to date if we drafted him because we have Taylor Hunt, Grigg, Ellis etc

Cripps would have been playing in the twos in the back pocket still if he was at Richmond.
