So who plays on Tippett? Batchelor or Chaplin?
Another master stroke by Dimma.
I'm not much of a fan of Astbury but the one roll I think he can play is that on the resting ruckman in the forwardline.
The other 2 cannot.

Well just remeber how tall Batchelor plays... ::) ::) :whistle :whistle

I agree that Astbury's strength is playing on tall forwards or resting ruckman. Batchelor is not suited to playing such a role. Chaplin likewise. Play players in positions they excel in.

Half-Step just can't stay away from the same dried up old well....finally we get a chance to replace Houli the turnover merchant.....so he decides to go with an even worse turnover merchant............ guess Sydney could really do with the extra 5 goals....

Houli been running around in circles anyway. McIntosh no better. Our playing list is ravaged, so bottom out lads. The season is well & truly done. Give anyone on the list a run

You have to wonder exactly who these players are that the club identified the other week as being past their use by date and not able to take us further .....because we seem to keep selecting the blokes that most people would assume they were referring to...

depends on if you have the heart of a turkey or the heart of an eagle to start with

So if the forwards in the Vfl side had bigger hearts

The  would go to that part of the ground  more often?

In your world maybe, in my they would get to the right spots more often and I wouldnt be reading about their lack of intensity and willingness to work to the contest like I have from both spectators and coaches.

There are some things that are non negotiable, regardless of how much talent a person may have. You may think that being born with more talent than others gives the priveledge of not having to have the right work ethic , but I dont. I only want players who work their arses to get reach their full potential, The more talented the better, but I dont give them leeway just because they lucked out in the ability lottery.

They dont have to be tearing it up at VFL, but they do have to show something, be working to the coaches instructions and not being showed up by those that are already proven hacks.

From all reports there is no kids close to constantly performing at a level where they could feel hard done by not getting an AFL game, cept perhaps Lennon, and that is a great concern.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
