I nearly spewed when there was talk of Dimsim being a genius but now sliding Hunt back into the fold has me converted.
Tanking 101.

The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Dimmer's not able to implement any plans that uktimately succeed.

We're not tanking, he's just a very silly, egotistical boy.

Houli unavailable to face Swans

Bachar Houli has been ruled out of this Saturday night's match

Running defender, Bachar Houli injured his right wrist at training on Thursday morning and is unavailable to play in Richmond’s Saturday night match against Sydney.

Houli will see a specialist to determine the extent of the injury, and the best course of action for recovery.

At this stage, a timeframe on his availability to return to playing is to be determined.

Taylor Hunt will come into the team for Saturday night’s match.

Dan Butler joins Jason Castagna and Andrew Moore as Richmond's emergencies for the match against Sydney.

:clapping  :cheers  :lol
I don't even care that Hunt comes in.
Houli is insipid. Not an aggressive bone in his body which makes it very hard to play at the highest level with much effect.
In fact I actually think he is worse than, Chaplin, Grigg and  BEllis. And that's saying something.
I just hope it's a serious injury that keeps him out for a long time.
He is a massive part of the reason I haven't enjoyed watching us this year and I hate him for that.
I can handle losing if they play with some sort of passion. And he is passionless.
I have said from day one of this season that both BEllis an Houli couldn't play in the same team let alone the same backline as both are spineless and don't like body contact. And as a backman that's not a great start. Both are too busy trying to avoid contact and while getting easy kicks.
May even make the effort and go on Saturday night now.

Apologies for the rant but it's been a while coming.

I understand the angst towards Houli but he didn't actually sign on to play in our backline, thats just another example of the genius that is Hardwick!

depends on if you have the heart of a turkey or the heart of an eagle to start with

So if the forwards in the Vfl side had bigger hearts

The  would go to that part of the ground  more often?

In your world maybe, in my they would get to the right spots more often and I wouldnt be reading about their lack of intensity and willingness to work to the contest like I have from both spectators and coaches.

There are some things that are non negotiable, regardless of how much talent a person may have. You may think that being born with more talent than others gives the priveledge of not having to have the right work ethic , but I dont. I only want players who work their arses to get reach their full potential, The more talented the better, but I dont give them leeway just because they lucked out in the ability lottery.

They dont have to be tearing it up at VFL, but they do have to show something, be working to the coaches instructions and not being showed up by those that are already proven hacks.

From all reports there is no kids close to constantly performing at a level where they could feel hard done by not getting an AFL game, cept perhaps Lennon, and that is a great concern.

This is spot on. It's difficult because there's blokes who should be dropped but there really isn't anyone to come in.

McBean and Lennon are the obvious two that stand out as having an AFL skillset and potentially looking better not being surrounded by scrubs. Based off what I saw last week Lennon is doing the right things and should be played in the 1's for a significant chunk of games. McBean's work ethic and attitude on the other hand seemed very questionable.

You could maybe give Broad and Butler a go but the rest are either not up to it (Maric, Townsend, A Moore, Hunt, Astbury, Marcon) or nowhere near ready (Markov, Chol, Soldo, C Moore)

It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”
