Townsend.

What's your basis for Townsend Clawski?
Just a few reasons.
1/ we need a big bodied inside mid with some tougness cmon we all see it.There is only two options Townsend or A Moore surely we have all seen enough of Moore over what 8 seasons now.
2/ Townsend is relatively young only played what 30 odd AFL games and like a lot of our kids i would like to see them give him a decent crack at it and see what he can produce.
I dont agree with this b/s of playing for one maybe two games and if they dont show enough out they go.
3/ He does have some real attributes for an inside role. Personally would give him a run with role and have the opposition take him to the ball.It may be a way to remedy his lack of disposals.Plus in enough of his games he has done some pretty decent taggoing roles against some real good players more like him. Watson and Kennedy both come to mind.
I think there is a role for him and i think there is still a decent amount of improvement left in him.

Whats to lose we need to give all the players who dont get a regular game a decent crack at it. They will either show something and maybe do enough to be kept  or they may well do  nothing at least we will know for sure.

our best inside mid is Vlastuin......

any decent coach would know that...and any decent coach would also know that Townsend has disposal abilities below that of one Taylor Hunt

2 very different types being compared and I disagree anyhow as most of Hunts disposals are those pea hearted go nowhere possessions.
The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

that is 2 names to come to the club to help improve things yet they are 2 big floppers Hunt & Townsend. You can get rougher players out of the local footy who could do better serious
