His injuries are my main concern, not his ability.

If you had the final say on last years trade going through or not, what would you do?

So it was pick 6 basically and about $700k

Keep pick 6 and tell Gold Coast to stick it.

Looking at the draft with the knowledge of who was taken prior to "our" pick 6, who would you have taken?

Of who was still on the board....probably Scrimshaw, then Brodie then Florent....I also liked Logue but thought he was a mid-teens pick..was big on Powell-Pepper but early first round was considered a reach given the question marks over his footskills and there was even a slight chance he'd still be there at 29....so I'd be lying if I said I would have taken him or Logue at 6.....

Jon Ralph in the Herald-Sun is calling the recruitment of Prestia as bust.

BUSTS SO FAR

Dion Prestia (Richmond): Has barely trained with a knee issue that is affecting his kicking and productivity. Going at 41 per cent by foot, and averaging only 21 touches. Now sidelined with hamstring/knee.

Hahaha. Wait till the second half of the season. I'm tipping he'll be in great form.

Who was it singing his and the clubs praises after the first couple of rounds?

If he ever gets fully fit he will be a good solid player for us- but pick 6 and $700k is a touch overs I would say and did.

I think you're gonna be paying overs for any good player these days. And anyway it might not be overs in a few years.. not sure how long his contract is though. A fit Prestia will make a world of difference to our team I reckon.
