its a no for me, unless lynch is 100% fit with no restrictions at all.

then we could i guess take a slight risk with prestia, but not with both of them not at 100%.

Bolton in.

If the club picks them then they’re fit to play.

How did we all see Prestia's first game back in almost 3 months?

20 disposals (7k, 13h, 7c, 13u, 70% eff.)
0 marks
4 tackles (1 tackle in50)
2 clearances (1 centre)
3 inside 50s
1 intercept
223 metres gained
2 score involvements

Dion Prestia

A phenomenal effort having not played a game since Round 5. Just the six contested possessions but got involved as much as you could ask for first up.

He wasn't match fit and it showed. At times struggled with the pace of the game and he was slow at times

Momentum killer moment in the last when he was caught, simply because he was slow to react. We were moving it forward quickly early in the last and he got pinged, had someone out in front just to slow to react. HTB.

Will be better for the run but still question of it was the right call playing him after one scratch match, thst let's be honest was a game but just extended match simulation

I’m shocked to be honest by your assessment.

Despite being underdone did much better than most others In the midfield.
Probably our second best after Graham. Did he make some errors sure but he wasn’t our worst.

He needed the game and he will be better for it.

Has the runs on the board and deserved the call up.

Right call in my opinion.

Star midfielder Dion Prestia has pulled up in good shape after his first match since July.

"He'll get better again," Hardwick said of the reigning best-and-fairest winner.

"You can do as much training as you want, but the reality is as soon as you start playing games it's a different kettle of fish."

I had Graham our best last week too.

Provided we win on Friday night, Prestia getting a chance to gain more match fitness before the Prelim is probably the only good thing to come out of us losing the QF.

Graham, Shedda and Astbury will all benefit. Meaty, hmm, he’s not normally been a 1 match straight up to scratch type of player but I hope I’m wrong
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Dion Prestia

Wasn’t as influential as he has been in previous finals in recent years, but looks like he is ready to explode after missing majority of the season through injuries.
