Peter Casey has quoted some of the Returning Officer's election results.

Quote from: BigTigerCasey

Okay, not the final tally but close to it (numbers will eventually add up - count is doubled because of two votes...)

From the Returning Officer

    "...but from memory:
    Dunne 70%
    Ryan 46%
    Wallace 43%
    Casey 35%

Adds to 194% which will be rounding plus people who only voted for 1"

Who the stuff voted for these 2 for another term?

There would have to be a few on here so man up and tell us why

As I said on twitter, disastrous 2016 on & off field for Richmond equals no major off-field personnel dismissed & members vote for status quo.

Go figure! :huh3

Holding board elections in December is good for the incumbents it seems. A few new fresh faced recruits and fluff pieces of hope and training hard for the upcoming next season, seem to make many members forget the woes and stuff ups of the season just gone. Short memory, must have a short memory :P.

Does anyone know how many people actually voted?
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

There's the issue.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

Yep

Obviously people would rather to bitch & moan than make change

Those that bitch and moan would have voted for change.  The club played their cards well to the silent majority.  As Mighty said having an election in December is perfect for them.  We got Balmey a couple of new recruits everyones training the house down big season ahead kerry and Emmet are great and btw heres a link for you to vote for kerry and Emmett.   All good.
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

Simon Wallace's response to the election result:

All class by Simon

Can honestly say I am staggered by the result. Really thought only one the incumbents (Dunne) would be re-elected and we have at least one new face.

But the members who voted have spoken and time to get behind club for season 2017
I was very impressed with Simon and still am.
Very surprised too!
