:lol :lol only Richmond could possibly rate Hampson as a no. 1 ruck

and which of our many rucks is currently better than Hampson??

Right now - sadly - Hampson is our No 1 ruck.

Even if he is which is debatable I still wouldn't play him.

I would play Griffiths, Soldo, Chol, hell I would even play a midfielder in there ala port Adelaide.

I would re-sign Jake King to do it.

Dan Richardson also confirmed the Tigers’ interest in back-up Sydney ruckman Toby Nankervis.

“We’ve expressed an interest in Toby and at this stage the Swans certainly want to retain him ... with Ty now officially moving there’s some interest in acquiring another ruck-forward.”

What's this "with Ty now officially moving" rubbish, surely we should have been on the look out prior to that? Surely we weren't happy with re-signing Maric :banghead. Also, when did Ty ever stuffing ruck

But we've signed Ivvy, he will surely be like a new recruit?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Ive changed my mind on Nankervis. Reckon it would be good to get him and would be worth direct swap for conca.

Still only 22 and can hold his own in the ruck. Potential for upside as he reaches his mid 20s and beyond.

I also like he averages 5 tackles a game. Unlike im a little teapot hampson.

Nankervis is already better than Hampson. The club just doesn't want to publicise it.

If he isnt yet it may not be far off.

I thought Sydney made a mistake dropping him for the last two matches.

He provided a good target up forward and made their Fwd structure better imo as well as giving relief in the ruck

Dropped for Tippett and he gave them nothing

The Tigers are also likely to pick up ruckman Toby Nankervis from Sydney, having offered him greater opportunities and a two-year contract.
