Ive changed my mind on Nankervis. Reckon it would be good to get him and would be worth direct swap for conca.

Still only 22 and can hold his own in the ruck. Potential for upside as he reaches his mid 20s and beyond.

I also like he averages 5 tackles a game. Unlike im a little teapot hampson.

Even if he doesn't work out he can't possibly be worse than what we had last year

Thought he did ok but was soundly beaten by Kruzer who was one the blues best.

He needs to get fitter if he wants to keep up with the best ruckman at times couldn't go when required as nothing left in the tank.

That's cute and all Dookie but I'll just bump this gem from 11 months ago :shh

Admittedly I haven't seen much of him, but Toby Nankervis from Sydney looked alright the other night. Still young at 21 and a little short but he just looked like he had a real go and wasn't too shabby. Laid 9 tackles as well. A bit behind the pecking order over at Sydney so could be a realistic.

Agree but loved th fact he kept busting a nut and finished well taking a nice mark and kicking his second goal. Shows character - was beaten but kept Kruezer honest. Also just his 13th game, will back him to catch up on match fitness pretty quickly

Frankly ouldn't give a stuff about the hit outs....he's pressure & pressence atound the ground were invaluable....

^^^ this

Though he was great

He has one thing we lacked in the ruck last season and that's "presence"

He imposes himself, he gives 2nd, 3rd efforts....

22 year old playing his 13th game and only the sole ruckman playing against an almost 28 year old playing his 141th game

Nankervis is a good find. Will be our no1 ruckman for some time.

So can we say well done Hartley?

I think he is a great find, and seriously he showed more in that first praccy game than Hampton ever did.

I think it's more of a relief hampsons days are numbered.
