His second efforts on ground balls and actually attempting to chase and pressure opposition players is something I haven't seen from a Richmond ruckman in a long time.

From Barrett's 'Sliding Doors' column:

IF ... Toby Nankervis wants to make himself a Punt Rd legend ...

THEN ...   he needs to own the next four weeks.

All Toby needs to do is have a crack- and I don't think there would be many who could question that about him.

Yep.

Not sure why Barrett singled him out in his column this week. I'd say that about any of our players.

That said, I hope Toby fulfils the contract from Barrett and we win a flag. He will be a dead set legend then.

Not big stats aside from 32 hitouts and 3 clearances but a game of all heart from big Nank.

Thank you Yeahright

Ive changed my mind on Nankervis. Reckon it would be good to get him and would be worth direct swap for conca.

Still only 22 and can hold his own in the ruck. Potential for upside as he reaches his mid 20s and beyond.

I also like he averages 5 tackles a game. Unlike im a little teapot hampson.

That's very cute Dooks

Admittedly I haven't seen much of him, but Toby Nankervis from Sydney looked alright the other night. Still young at 21 and a little short but he just looked like he had a real go and wasn't too shabby. Laid 9 tackles as well. A bit behind the pecking order over at Sydney so could be a realistic.
