It's going to take 4-5 years before we really know in hindsight who were the best picks of 2004. Our 2000 draft effort looked just ok even prior to last year with Cogs and Newman but now it looks pretty good when you add Pettifer plus Hyde and Krakouer.
The top 5 of the 2004 class all look like a win-win-win situation for us, Hawthorn and the doggies IMV. Let's see how Tambo goes this year after a injury-free preseason before writing him off compared to Franklin. I also have no complaints with us picking up Meyer or Patto based on last year and training last Friday. Skillwise Meyer > Monfries IMO.
Limbach still needs to build up his upper body. He'll probably be Coburg's FF this year. He spent plenty of time at training working on his goalkicking and taking on advice.
