Is it just me, or isn't the club publishing anything about what I get with my MRC membership for 2017?

Must be you full details on the website

Includomg it's sold out and there is a waitijg list

Look under "grand final guarantee"

Thanks for your reply, WP.  Must be the browser that I'm using.  I put a call into the club to find out the details.

When I log on to the membership website, it tells me that all the membership package options are "item no longer for sale".

When I look at my list of benefits, it has no details of the MRC at all.  Not a word.  Nothing about the grand final guarantee.

Cheers

I am not logging into the site / my account

Just looking at the membership website and browsing the different categories

They are all there now. Even all the coteries this year

I finally worked it out, WP.  When I view the RFC website in incognito mode in my browser, I see the sections that you're talking about.  When I use standard browser mode, the membership website automagically knows who I am, even if I've logged off the previous time that I've accessed the site.  When the site recognises me, I can't see the list of products on the member pages, only the ones that they've got on my file from 2016.

Cookies can work against you sometimes!  Wonder if the club knows that the site is preventing me from browsing other membership types?  If they do, it would be a pretty cynical attempt to keep me at the same membership level.  Anyway, I'll have a chat to them when they call me.  Cheers again.

Wonderful logic there

And without those 17.5k people not signing the club won't be able to afford to "sack the dud" or it will make a huge financial loss

But I suppose that's OK because people like yuo will have something else to bash the board and club for  ::)

I guess the frustration is that there are people at the club who are able to hide behind the clubs issues if they continue to gain financial support from supporters and point to the P&L as a sign of stability.
While not smug, I sometimes get the feeling that the board and management of the club console themselves in the financial performance which has been partly build on deceiving people that they know how to build both the on and off field performance.
If they sacked Hardwick, Richardson, Hartley and Jackson along with the President stepping down,  I'd almost guarantee most of those 17.5k would pay up.
Those memberships would probably cover the cost of those people leaving the club.
It's sad yes but I can't  fault that perspective as an option.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

What's more important WP - making comment about a site member because he is allegedly bashing the club because of financial and personell mistakes, or the actual financial and personell mistakes of the club? Club is 7,500 members down (approx $1.5 million) already.

What next? Only a short step to actually blaming site members, and the powers that be at the club can be the victims.

Bit of perspective wouldn't go astray.
