On the topic of Barlow, has just quit Fremantle and is up for grabs.

Re-signed him before trade week then went and got a younger, fitter version of him anyway.... :clapping :gotigers

Wonder if Balme could try and talk him into a just taking up a non-playing coaching role instead?

Barlow - upgrade on Moore, better than Townsend, probably still better than half our current midfield....probably still has at least two good years of footy left in him...

Richards - can cover both ends, GF experience, young & athletic.

M.Brown - experienced big bodied KPD, better than Astbury

O'Shea - also better than Astbury - still only 24

Henderson -  upgrade on Batchelor

Litherland - massive upgrade on Batchelor

Every one of them would immediately add value to our list IMO. Would love to be able to take Barlow, Richards, Litherland and one of Brown or O'Shea. Looks like we'll only be able to take one at the most however.....so I'd go for Richards simply because he can fill both our most desperate need (KPD) and our second most desperate need (KPF), is still young and just played in a GF campaign.

How many spots do we have on the list?

Need to cut away some dead wood badly.

relevance?

has no impact on total list numbers

there is a total number we can have made up of senior listed or rookies. LTI included in that number

Arent these guys also  available to be taken  in the nd. Could use 27, 56 and 82 is a real stretch still have 100 and 118 to jump in early on say richards and Barlow.we will get good footy out of those two but how many draftees have made any sort of contribution after pick 100.

This is when Blair shines.  It's his time.
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

I would be open to taking Richards and Barlow with late picks.

Barlow is a delisted free agent - will be gone before the draft you would think.

Nov 1 is the DFA period start date

Yeah that still doesn't solve the problem of our lack of list spots....and I'd imagine Barlow will go as a dfa before the draft ...Richards too...though I think he might have to go into the draft because he turned down a new contract offer from Sydney....can't see him lasting to 100....reckon M.Brown & Litherland will be snapped up as DFA's too....
