Hmm i count 3 elite players 2 very good players and the rest a mish mash of average below average and juniors.
We could move on half the list and not lose a great deal.

Last time these came out that l remember Edwards was one of our elite.

If they are counting players as it stands now then Caddy was rated by them as elite for his hff role at Geelong.

You mean the bloke who never ever puts his body on the line. Sheesh poor old Brandon Ellis cops it from all quarters and rightly so but this bloke continually escapes criticism.

It wouldn't surprise me if jack was only above average. He was being played out of position all year up the ground and his stats would reflect that. Cotch hasn't been great for a while,  captaincy does not suit him and we need a hard body to block for him. Myles doesn't cut it there.

Article says that with Deledio going to GWS, they now have another elite player

So in 2016 we had 4  ;D

Last year, Champion Data had:

4 Elite: Jack, Rance, Lids & Titch.

8 Above Avg (included Cotch, Dusty, Ivan, Miles).

So no surprise we fell away badly when have your stars/reliable players have shocking seasons or are injured.

Going on the above, Lids (GWS) & Titch (shocker) fall out of the elite category with Dusty going up into it.

3 Elite: Jack, Rance, Dusty.

The above average category isn't obvious though. Cotch would still be in there statistically. Hard to think of anyone else deserving  :help.
