Gone

off the eagles as unrestricted FA

Compo details to come

I know most on here are glad to see him go

But I'm bitterly disappointed in him like I am with the others who have chosen to walk out on the Club when the going has gotten tough

Club gave all these blokes opportunities and success and as soon as it gets a bit tough the bail

Let's hope it's decent compo

I couldn't agree more WP.

Graham would be perfect to plug a hole in midfield for 2-3 years whilst our draft hand of God matures and gets an opportunity to develop nicely. Now we either play even crabbier crabs like Dow in the middle or blood the kids too early.

Anyone explain the key difference of Baker and Graham? Baker is also uncontracted but WCE have to trade or he goes to draft? Whats the difference which allows Graham to just walk to Eagles? Was it because we don't match his contract?

Graham is unrestricted free agent, so he can go wherever he wants

Baker isn't, not even a restricted FA.

What compensation will the Tigers get for the departure of Jack Graham to the Eagles?

Ah yes the classic Barrett campaigning just like he did when bellis left.

He’s right of course, but it’d be great if they didn’t pick and chose their outrage.

The Eagles' interest in Graham had been reported by AFL.com.au for some time, with the Tigers lifting their original contract offer to four years to try and keep hold of the 26-year-old.

However, Graham has opted to move to the Eagles on a four-year deal.

As an unrestricted free agent, the Eagles are not required to trade for Graham, but his age, salary and the length of his contract will all be taken into account by the League when working out Richmond's draft compensation.

"I'm just so grateful for the Richmond Football Club for giving me the opportunity eight years ago," Graham said.

"I have met some amazing people along this journey, and it is tough ... but it is something that I thought I needed for myself. A new chapter and a new challenge.

"Jordy and I are very excited by that, but at the same time, it is sad to say goodbye to so many good people."
