Callum Twomey, in his latest podcast on the AFL website, said it's now a growing possibility that Naish will last until after pick 25. Meaning we be able to draft 3 other kids and then use a combo of our later picks to grab Naish as F/S. Twomey said he still rates Naish in the top 15 but clubs in that range won't be interested in the type of player that Naish is. Maybe only the Bulldogs at 16 would consider his type and making a bid.

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Brett Anderson on twitter:

Couple of clubs with fingers (and toes) crossed when it comes to F/S bids. Tigers may luck out with Naish bid after 25. Lots of intrigue. #AFLDraft

Bid won't come in 1st round on PN, as I hear it. Mid-second more likely.

I don’t think anyone will bid in 1st rd. If bid comes too early Tigers will let him go.

All the better for us if there isn't a bid until just before our third pick at 25.

Q. So do you have information that dogs will bid on Naish at 16? Or is that your opinion?

Callum Twomey: They have an interest. But I think others will still be on their board at that stage so it's more unlikely than likely.

Rumour’s circling the St Kilda might bid on Naish with pick 7.
Surely we would pass if this comes to fruition?
