At least it's good to know Simmo is running as far as his ankle goes. Hopefully for his and our sake the blood clot problem is behind him too and he can get off the Warfarin soon.
whats warfarin doc ?

Careful who you're calling a clot, Simmo's got a black belt in karate.   :whistle  8)

on the gear myself actually. 10mg (2x5mg tabs) everyday for the term of my natural life. They want to keep my I.N.R. (blood viscosity) at 2.7 to 3.0 which just means 2.7 to 3.0 times thinner than normal thickness.

doesnt really affect your natural physical ability in any way just if you bleed from a cut or something it takes a tad longer for it to clot up.

I also notice in high altitude i tend to get out of breath a tad quicker than i normally would.

He's coming off the warfarin soon and it wont be a problem at all. I'd say he's on it now purely for safety's sake.

Do you have to have regular blood tests blx so they can monitor your INR levels?

Miller said Simmo won't be allowed to do any contact work until February but apart from that no problems. Cogs going very well too. Thankfully no serious injuries so far (touchwood  :pray).

Surely with all the heat in Melbourne, there should be plenty of pics of shirtless players training?  On Chan 10 news the other night, they had Freo players trainingn in speedos.
