Here's the SEN article on what Waldron said yesterday morning:
Free agent forward on the move: WaldronBy SEN
8 August 2017Carlton's free agent key forward Levi Casboult will join Richmond at at season's end according to the Brian Waldron.
The 27-year-old, who has kicked 100 goals in 91 career matches, is an unrestricted free agent and has attracted the interest of a number of clubs.
Waldron told SEN’s Hungry For Sport that the much-maligned 201cm forward will be swapping navy blue for yellow and black.
“Casboult’s done – he’s off to Richmond,” he said.
“He’s an unrestricted free agent, he’s done, he’s agreed, he’s gone.”
Recruited from the Dandenong Stingrays with pick 44 in the 2010 rookie draft, Casboult has long been considered one of the best contested marks in the competition, but has struggled with his conversion registering an accuracy rate of just 56 per cent.
Richmond has been on the lookout for a key forward partner for Jack Riewoldt following the departure of Ty Vickery to Hawthorn at the end of last season.
Sydney’s Sam Reid was another Tiger target, but he re-signed yesterday with the Swans for a further four years.
