Shouldn't we avoid dealing with the Scum Cheats on any level unless we can screw them over?

We wouldn't need to deal with them

Here's the SEN article on what Waldron said yesterday morning:

Free agent forward on the move: Waldron

By SEN
8 August 2017

Carlton's free agent key forward Levi Casboult will join Richmond at at season's end according to the Brian Waldron.

The 27-year-old, who has kicked 100 goals in 91 career matches, is an unrestricted free agent and has attracted the interest of a number of clubs.

Waldron told SEN’s Hungry For Sport that the much-maligned 201cm forward will be swapping navy blue for yellow and black.

“Casboult’s done – he’s off to Richmond,” he said.

“He’s an unrestricted free agent, he’s done, he’s agreed, he’s gone.”

Recruited from the Dandenong Stingrays with pick 44 in the 2010 rookie draft, Casboult has long been considered one of the best contested marks in the competition, but has struggled with his conversion registering an accuracy rate of just 56 per cent.

Richmond has been on the lookout for a key forward partner for Jack Riewoldt following the departure of Ty Vickery to Hawthorn at the end of last season.

Sydney’s Sam Reid was another Tiger target, but he re-signed yesterday with the Swans for a further four years.

At least with unrestricted we don't have to pay well and truly overs to get him and we keep our trade currency to go for another need.

Do you mean unrestricted?

I thought he was a restricted FA

But whatever

he is free Agent so we don't have to deal with Carlton. We table him a FA offer, he accepts. Unrestricted means we get him, unrestricted means they can match, if they do tigers can walk away  ;D

unrestricted means the Bolt can accept any offer.  The current club has no right to match.

He can sign on the 1st of November and almost certainly will.
