We have small forwards coming out of the wazoo, so why would we want another one.
Menzel is 190cm and 90kg. He is NOT a small forward.

wow - i never wouldve picked that - plays like a goal sneak

Bontempelli is 192cm and 94kg but plays midfield. Height alone doesn't define how you play
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I have seen both Menzel and Bont take strong pack marks using their height. It's just that they don't do it regularly.  :shh
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

I know that lol Pendles is a midfielder but is also 192cm, Macca plays as a running player but is about 194cm however im not surprised by that bc they showcase that height/flexibility to play tall at various times - Menzel, however plays very much like a small fwd just very surprised hes that tall.

Just an observation  :thumbsup

I know this is probably going to upset some people (im not happy), but i have it on good authority that in the past few weeks officials from the club have spoken to Lachlan Hansen about an onfield role in 2018.

We have been down this path before, nearly always after a season of something that resembles a success, and has rarely worked. Pass.

My point was that it doesn't define their playing style. They're no more capable than Danger  whose 6ft 2
