Will replace Batchelor in the VFL....

I'd give Batch another couple of years. Has had a solid year and is a top bloke.  :thumbsup

Agree. Seems like we will be making a few list changes this year, and if the draft is shallow, I reckon we don't need to cut deep enough to move Batch on.

What we did after our last prelim:

Cherry stuffing ripe..... :clapping
Ah yes. The great '01 draft. Good idea it was to trade out of that one....

Rodan was okay. Marty McGrath very memorable....

Chris Hyde was good fun.

James Kelly would've been handy.
The club that keeps giving.

FREMANTLE is open to trading youngster Harley Balic to a Victorian club after the midfielder requested a trade back to his home state.

Miles and pick 17 for Schache and a later pick?

Miles and our third pick for Schache?

What would get the deal done to swap the players?

Probably the former. But as Miles is out of contract he probably wont go unless he wants to.

Id maybe consider trying to get in a second round pick and hppe Naish slides a bit (we dont have a second round pick).

So (ideal world) we trade one first rounder and Miles for Schache and a third round pick.

Sam Lloyd and a Third Rounder for a second round pick.

Thoughts?

Anybody interested in delisted Jonothan Freeman from Brisbane?

About 197/92 and talented from what I saw. Bagged 40-odd goals in the NEAFL and still about 22-23 years old...

not sure. theres an argument Brisbane will require alot for the swap as a pick 2 but then again hes shown stiff all and had issues it seems.

also one could argue Miles is worth alot and would gun it up in a permanent mid role. but he cant seem to get a game.

ao maybe its even a straight swap and we give them some sugar on top, lkke our 17 for their early 20s pick. dunno.

Find this very hard to believe given where North's list is at and the fact their big jumpin' jew is pretty much cooked to a kosher crisp, but just read on the draft & trades board over at BF thst they'll be putting Preuss on the table....would definitely go after him if it was the case....

Correct. Hampson surely done after this year - we desperately need a backup Ruckman. However, most people don't come across to be a backup.

Not going after Schache or Stringer - using both our two picks...one probably on Naish (massive overs IMO)

https://www.sen.com.au/news/2017/09/26/tigers-football-boss-provides-schache-stringer-update/

Translation: We don't have the money to go after anyone decent this year, especially as we're targeting Lynch next year.... :shh

Didn't that article suggest we are interested in Stringer but no longer intersted in Schache?

Maybe we should trade into a first rounder for next year to try and secure an extra pick for Lynch  :shh
