Seems like a good player to upgrade if we need to or for reward. He went ok last year too.

Seriously?! After one preseason game you're willing to give him the nod?

No, if you read my post I said.."he went ok last year too"

So did Nank :shh
Nank is actually on the list proper though and does not need upgrading.

Besides the above is open to opinion id say, because statistically at least he was pretty ordinary.
Last yr he managed just 7 games being over looked for  others.
For a big Ruckman who we hope can go fwd he went at

11 disposals
1.7 marks
0.5 contested marks
0.3 goals
14 h/o
He did lay 5 tackles a game though.

Clearly we took him for his upside and like most i like what he does without the ball and he shows more than enough to suggest all others areas will improve at this level no hesitation in playing him in front of Hampson though his aggression and willingness for the contest puts him in front of hampson by some margin.
But he sure as hell will have to significantly improve on those stats.

Was that his averages last year

Well the Richmond faithful have definitely been blessed with the mighty Hammers 1.17 average disposals and 0.05 tackles per game.

No wonder Nank isn't the number 1 ruck in the eyes of some

I'm well aware. My comment was in reference to the fact WAT believes Nankervis is still behind Hampson. So in the end we both have made the same conclusion :thumbsup

Fair enough Just think there is a fair bit of baiting going on and on this occasion wat does not deserve it.
So he prefers Hampson over Nankervis dont agree but can see why. So he wants Castagna promoted on this i do agree and again can see why.

No baiting at all on this occasion and if it was I'm sure the mods would have taken care of it. Just making a simple observation that he doesn't apply the same rules he applies to his favourite player/s to everyone else.

Welcome to the brave new world of Political Correctness where if you hang poo on stupid and hypocritical posting it is baiting.

Every child gets a trophy too..........
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Do you think that maybe things would be a lot better if we all just posted the first random bit of crap that fills our head without thinking it through?

Better still, start a new thread with each random bit of crap.

And if anyone disagrees just fight or flight as a counter argument

I would start it off but would more than likely get in trouble for it.
