Changes for the Eagles next week?
« on: March 31, 2017, 12:19:00 PM »
Looks like one forced change at least.

Tall forward Ben Griffiths is in "some doubt" for next week's clash against West Coast at the MCG after suffering concussion, but the Tigers will have a nine-day break.

Upgrade Soldo (preferred option) and bring him in for Griff or give Elton a go. Consider dropping George for Lloyd......that's it for mine. Lambert, Shorty and Lennon all deserve to retain their spots and, 'credit where it is due', Houli does as well.

Considering he was an emergency this week, Halfstep will most likely bring in Maric if Griffiths is still unfit.....then Elton's probably next in line given the others are still on the rookie list and our general reluctance to elevate more than one rookie in the first half of the season in recent years...

Hope he goes the Elton route rather than Maric. Need a forward more than a ruck and, not that I have high hopes at this stage, at least you could argue Elton may have improvement left in him

Tough backline needed for WCE.

Rance will go to Kennedy, leaving Astbury for their second tall maybe on Darling LOL.

Needs a special type of player to make Darling look good and Astbury is the man for that job.

All the time while Rance tries to hold down a gun KPF and covering about two other blokes men

Darling isn't that good.

It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Every chance they'll chop and change Rance and Astbury during the night. Rance should cover Kennedy when he moves up the ground but if they're both playing deep he should go to Darling. Astbury might be able to handle Kennedy in a tussle but would be killed by Darling.

What's up with Grimes? Had very few possies last week. Is he injured? Could he cover Darling instead.

Not injured just playing the lock down defender and yes he could take Darling.

Yeh I heard that with Batch not a 100% fit they have needed someone to play that role until Batch recovers
