Return of the Drama Queen

No, not that one lol

Yep, the Jana Pittman show is on again.  After finishing last in her run the other day has ordered blood tests to see what's wrong with her.  Could it be she wasn't good enough?  Of course not.

Tamsyn Lewis is a bit of a nit-wit IMO, but funny listening to her bag the crap out of her on radio the other day.

I'm sure the Jana drama will continue to dominate our papers up until the Games.

Maybe her knee failed to function in the race because it( her knee) is angry it isn't getting all the attention it was getting in the lead up to Athens  :wallywink

She rekkons that there  is an evil vibe in the camp since the media publicised the rift beteen her and Tamsyn. ::)
The truth is the whole team hates your guts Pitman !!!

Your parents have a lot to answer for.
Where else did that false self confidence come from ?

Pittman did win a World Championship as a 19 or 20 year old so she must have something going for her.

Now I'm not defending her but in these times of prepackaged personalities I find a space-cowgirl like Jana good value, some of her best stuff is truly cringeworthy.

She's in the 'so bad it's good' category.

I say we let her live.

You could be right WP, apparently the knee has called a press conference for Friday morning - (rumor has it the knee now has it's own manager and a sponsorship deal is being announced).

That was not the aim of this thread.  What were you thinking of lol  :rollin
We have only a couple of months of Jana bashing, so enjoy it and then we can lay off lol

SOAP OPERA DRAMA

To the tune of Copacabana ( Barry Manilow )

Her name was Jana, she was a hurdler
With yellow and green gear and fancy Nike shoes down there
She would whinge and do a wha-wha
And while she tried to be a star, the aussie media said ta
Across a running track, she worked from eight til four
She was young and they had each other
Who could ask for more?

What a joker, soap opera drama
The hottest news north of jacana
What a joker, soap opera drama
Bruises and karma, it has to be Jana
What a joker .... you're on the front page again, love.

His name was Rico, he was her trainer
He was escorted to his chair, he saw Jana runnin' there
And when she finished, he called her over
But Jana went A over T, and the poor girl bunged her knee
And then the teardrops flew and she might need an op or two
There was blood and her olympics were shot
But would there be a comeback too?

What a joker, soap opera drama
The hottest news north of jacana
What a joker, soap opera drama
Bruises and karma, it has to be Jana
What a joker ....  you're on the front page again, love.

Oh what drama, for our Jana
The race is about to go, will she still be in for a show
Now it's the eighth hurdle, a stumble for Jana
Still in the lycra that she wears, a fading chance is all that's there
A sook at her time, as the Greek girl crosses the line
She lost the race and she missed a medal
The other racers must be on drugs half-blind?

What a joker, soap opera drama
The biggest sook since Polly Farmer
What a joker, soap opera drama
Bruises and karma, it has to be Jana
What a joker ....  you're on the front page again, love.

Now we have Raelene Boyle (what a f@rking bogan name) coming out and having a go at Tamsyn Lewis (nother bogan name) for enjoying the media spotlight. Bout time Raelene got her ugly mug out of the papers I think.

I suggest the two girls sort out their differences on a 'blokesworld mud wrestling spectacular'. :o I can imagine Jana blaming her performance or lack of it on equipment failure!  ;) ;D

There's a huge poster of Tamsyn Lewis up high on the side of a building on Flinders St. You can see it from Swanston St.

It says "Honda is right Tamsym Lewis". I wonder if Jana is behind the wheel  ;D.

Yes Ethel I've heard that too - I've heard that La Knee was upset with those awful socks she wore in the 400 metre race (white just isn't La Knee's colour) and La Knee has secured a sponsorship deal with a major sock company that will bring out La Knee's finer features

 ;) :clapping :yep

Those socks...  there's bad and there's bad but that look is down right wrong.  She couldn't get away with them in the back seat at the drive-in, her sponsors must have had pups.

10/3 - A tight hamstring last night forced Jana Pittman to pull out of her crucial final lead-up event for the Commonwealth Games at Olympic Park.

11/3 - Pittman plans to turn her back on Australia after the Commonwealth Games and base herself in London to escape the ongoing animosity, public scrutiny and negative press.

"I know I am hated by some people," an emotional Pittman said yesterday. "Even if I am breaking world records they think I'm a drama queen."

Oh, come on Jana, we don't think that at all  :rollin

15/3 - A 500m jog with the Queen's Baton was deemed by a doctor to be too dangerous for Jana Pittman's hamstring.
