Given our shortened preseason, I only see us playing our fringe players and cubs in this. No way we'll risk our premiership players in an exhibition version of the game in February and interstate.

FANS will be encouraged to sit in segregated team zones for the upcoming AFLX tournaments.

The League plans to unveil a number of new fan experiences at the three tournaments in February, with venues set to be divided up into club-specific areas.

One of the beauties of our game and culture is that you can go to a game, sit anywhere and interact with supporters of both sides without the problems they have overseas. Why on earth would they take that away.

Not surprisingly, some clubs like the Swans are already ruling out playing their senior stars.

If we decide to do the same then who do guess will be in our 10-man side?

Mine:
Castagna
Butler
Lloyd
Bolton
Markov
Menadue
C.Ellis
Short
Stengle
Chol

Can see Miles & Broad playing as well

Throw in a couple if not all rookies & draftees

CLUBS will be able to rotate through 14-player squads during next week's AFLX tournaments.

Seven players will be on the field at any one time, with three players on the interchange bench for each game.

However, teams will be able to make up to four changes to their line-up between games, increasing the likelihood of clubs selecting some of their bigger names.

From a Hawks fan on BF:

For those with any interest you guys sent a squad our way today .....
Final score was 113 v 72 Hawks way .

Both squads very lite on ....like what I saw of Bolton and Broad solid playing as a tall in this hybrid game .
You were far better structured than us in the first half and lead at the change .
We switched to a little man on man for a while and that few a few things out .
Menadue gets over the ground well in this formate I must say but his finishing let him down at times .
All in all just a hit and giggle .....no injurys
