Geelong might be two games outside the 8 at the end of the round.
I'd say their bigger concern is what Mad Monday costumes they'll be wearing come week 1 of the finals...
With Sydney playing Melbourne one of them will be left on 48 points and most likely in 8th.
Hopefully Sydney wins leaving Melbourne one game and huge percentage in front of Geelong
Collingwood and Port will need to win for best case.
However then Melbourne play West Coast in Perth and then GWS in Melbounre while Geelong are up against Freo and Suns both at Geelong.
So either way either Geelong or Melbourne miss out. Cant pick which result l like better. Probably Melbourne in 9th for the 2nd year in a row.
