Corneal injuries tend to heal quickly. That's on his side.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

JACK Riewoldt will be passed fit to take on Hawthorn next Sunday as Richmond attempts to shore up their top-four aspirations.

Riewoldt needed multiple stitches in his cornea after being poked in the eye by an unnamed teammate at training last Thursday.

Richmond coach Damien Hardwick said his spearhead would return against a white-hot Hawthorn.

Dion Prestia’s return is far from certain, with footy boss Neil Balme saying he was still battling achilles tightness that saw him miss the Suns game.

He has also endured hamstring and knee issues this year but would be a handy inclusion given he has added tagging to his skills in recent weeks.

Really need to try Lennon for a final time.
Swap for Bolton or Butler.

Doubt Jack will come up.

Townsend really deserves a spot ahead of Caddy but it probably won't happen. Maybe another week.
Graham needs to show just a bit more over another week or two.
Same with Short. Replaces Ellis in a week or two.
Same with Markov. Replaces McIntosh in a week or two.

Maybe they go for a stranger one with Townsend replacing McIntosh.
They now have that taller defender with Broad so they don't really need McIntosh's height in defence.

It is on the surface of the eye itself. The sutures are finer than a hair. As I said before, the cornea tends to heal very quickly. Hopefully he does not have any vision issues.
