Adam Treloar asked Collingwood two weeks ago whether the club wanted him and the response he received was emphatic.

No we don’t.

As reported by foxfooty.com.au at the time, the direct messaging left the midfielder feeling frustrated and hurt.

Further conversations since have left the player even more disillusioned with the club and hurt by their approach. The Magpies have told him they don’t see him as part of their plans – despite him reaffirming his preference to stay - and would consider paying more than $200,000 of his 2021 salary even if he was at another club.

They’ve also told him he is difficult to coach at times, with no further explanation or clarification.

Whilst i don’t have a huge amount of sympathy for Treloar, on the surface he seems to have copped the rough end on this one. From my understanding his contract is back ended too.

Pies have no loyalty to their players. A disgraceful organisation.

Would happily take Treloar for 200k less his salary. Extraordinary stuff.

Stay away from Treloar, he had his opportunity and he shafted us.

Go after Dunkley.

Agree with you on treloar

As for Dunkley, he's contracted Dogs wont trade him

Yes I agree, I saw your reply in the other thread, Dunkley will be very expensive, a bridge too far.

Getting smacked by the Karma bus for sure but he'll still be on $800-$900k per year for playing footy on the Gold Coast.  Between Lolingwood and GC they'll have to pay his contract in full. Not someone we should be feeling sorry for.

Somebody That They Used to Know
(Apologies to Gotye)

Remember when Treloar and Collingwood got together
Like when Eddie said he felt so happy he could die
Adam told himself that Nathan was right for him you see
And didn't want 'non-premiership list' Richmond as his company
But that was his delusion and it's an ache I still remember

At Collingwood you can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness
Like resignation to losing finals, always in the end
So when Treloar and the Pies found that they couldn't win a flag
Well Adam said that they could still be friends
But the Pies admitted that they were glad it was over

But Treloar said, "Nathan didn't have to cut me off"
"Make out like it never happened and that I was nothing"
"And I don't even need your love"
"But you treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough"
"No, you didn't have to stoop so low"
"Have Pendles clean out my locker and ask for a high draft pick number".
I guess Adam that is karma though
Now you're just somebody that they used to know
Now you're just somebody that they used to know
Now you're just somebody that they used to know

Ramps, so Treloar got his wish to be like Buckley :lol

Suns have gone cold on Treloar btw. Talk of him ending up at the Dogs if Dunkley leaves.
