How come we have to play Sydney at Sydney if we lose, didn't we finish on top of them??

you are not reading it correctly.

The Sydney v Essendon final is at the SCG this Saturday

Our next final will be at the MCG win or lose.

If we were to win a flag, Hardwick should bow out and allow Blake to be senior coach.

Talk about a charmed existece, Dimmers had it all...and now it's time to go.
Caracella and Balmey.

Yeah but what about Dimma's 'feelings'?

I think Mat from Perth should read this twice just in case he doesn't get it the first time.  :shh :whistle

Caracalla has definitely made a difference but he is a by product of having a strong CEO and President . We finally have leaders who do not react to the hysteria of the masses.  We are currently seeing the fruit of the review the club made at the end of last season .

Surely we have moved pass this notion that one man can be the savior of the Richmond football club .
Caracalla was at Geelong for 7 years and the joint didn't fall apart when he left .
Richmond has been strong this year because the whole organization is strong for the first time in over 3 decades .

This reminds me of debating christians over the topic of evolution.  You made up your mind years ago that Hardwick couldn't coach and not even a flag will change your mind .

Massive stretch there Mat, Carracalla is at Richmond because of Balme not the CEO or president without those two changes do you think that Hardwick could have come up with the changes nessacary to get us to where we are today?

Not a chance, Hardwick's best effort was last years game plan and that was proven to be a steaming pile.

My problem with Hardwick is that he could not see the most fundamental issue with our team or at the very least could not fix it - tackling pressure.

It has taken Caracella to teach the importance of it. I find that unbelievable. For a senior coach to be going around saying we are a low tackling sort of side was a disgrace.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Hopefully we'll bring in Stevie J and Hodge next year to teach him the importance of winning by more than 10 goals... :shh

Can anyone prove that they do not exist? Seriously. In scientific terms you cannot disprove either hypothesis. There in lies the problem. One group asks for proof while not providing any of their own.....

Caracalla was at Geelong for 7 years and the joint didn't fall apart when he left .
Richmond has been strong this year because the whole organization is strong for the first time in over 3 decades .
When Hardwick arrived he said all the right words we like to hear. He spoke about pride in the jumper and tough, hard footy, he said if you can't win your own ball your not getting a game and let's not forget his "blueprint to success".
What we saw in 7 years was the opposite but we gave him some grace because the team was crap. He brought over his useless mates from Port too. Then as the gun players got more experience we saw some wins but what we didn't see was what he said we'd see but we continued to see the opposite. Soft, limp wristed, pansy football and it got worse until the whole team was  playing ring-a-ring-a-rosie!   :banghead
He's a phoney and his so-called blueprint was rubbish!

Thank goodness someone with footy brains and sense was able to identify someone that has a clue
And thankfully our stupid coach threw away that blueprint and listened to someone that actually understands footy and knows what's required to be a good team.
The club that keeps giving.

Hope you all enjoy Dusty for the next 7 years.

Club must be doing something right to show that kind of loyalty.
