Really, 30,000 cans is a pee in the ocean.

It's not a great beer by any stretch but what i witnessed this afternoon was like locusts ravaging a crop.  :shh

Weird Richmond premiership merchandise on sale on Ebay (Herald-Sun)

eBay users sell Grand Final turf, Dustin Martin’s rolled cigarette

Herald Sun
October 10, 2017

A SINGLE cigarette supposedly rolled by Dustin Martin is for sale for more than a deck of smokes, while other bizarre MCG Grand Final-related pieces are being flogged online.

A Champion Ruby cigarette claimed to be rolled by Brownlow medallist Dustin Martin after the Grand Final can be bought for $50 on eBay with a $17.55 postage fee.

“In mint condition. Genuine buyers only,” the cheeky ad reads.

There is still more than 24 hours left on the listing, which unsurprisingly, can’t be returned.

A piece of MCG Grand Final turf is also for sale on eBay to avid footy fans for just a lobster.

In the bizarre and often wacky world of eBay, one long-time user from Dandenong has put a piece of the allegedly used turf for sale on the website with bids beginning from $20.17.

While the turf is yet to attract any bids, there’s another five days left for punters to grab this patch of grass that was possibly even trodden on by Norm Smith medallist Dustin Martin and Richmond’s premiership heroes.

But it’s sheer speculation.

The post says it is “authentic grand final day turf”, but it’s a matter of taking the seller’s word.

A MCC spokesman said it could not be verified as MCG turf and did “not look like our product”.

“Anyone using public auction sites should be very wary of buying items that have not been authenticated,” he said.

A spokesman for HG Sports Turf, which supplies the pitch, was unable to verify if the turf was from the MCG.

For Tigers fans still celebrating, they can buy a slab of full sealed slab of the Carlton Draught

Richmond Tigers Grand Final beer for $400 from a seller in Lynbrook, or shop around on eBay for significantly cheaper slabs including one at $52.

If that’s not enough souvenirs to mark Richmond’s Grand Final win, buyers can pick up a reserved seat ticket stub from the September 30 clash for $5.50 on eBay.

But it’s that old saying, buyer beware.

Was just thinking, there is a Dusty Wings landscape framed pic with the brownlow. Now they'll have to redo it with his norm smith and premiership medal.

Anyone know if the club produces a DVD pack including games throughout the season?

Don’t think it was club release but Dogs had one for 2016 at JB. Don’t think it was bluray though. Stuff that peasant standard definition stuff.

So what has this flag cost everyone?

For me the total is starting to accumulate:

$695 for limited edition 50 years at the MCG print by Jamie Cooper which is a great piece imho and totally worth it
$  89 for framed herald sun poster
$  40 for miniature premiership cup which has taken pride of place on the mantle piece.

I'm hoping that Jamie Cooper does a premiership print and I will buy that too if it comes out.

So far just the cost of the three finals tickets for me and my dad, $3 HUN poster and a couple newspapers. Told everyone just get me premisership Merch for Xmas lol
