Despite being low scoring I actually thought the game was good viewing for the most part and well umpired.

stuff Kane lambert retiring with a degenerative hip and Matt Parker a fringe player who isn’t in our best 22 when everyone is fit leaving to go home for family reasons equates to “exodus”

Although the clubs have made some blues in drafting, where I must tip my hat is the club has done extremely well in retaining our A grade stock.

Plus Caddy. Also cooked/past it lol.

So two 30+ guys retire with injuries, one fringe player gets told he won't get a contract so he moves home. Nekminit the place is communist China

Its a changing of the guard. Shedda and Jack are probably next. People want to bring in ready mades, I think we should take our picks to the draft and only bring in free agents that wont cost us draft capital. Another 4 or 5 kids to round off the current crop then hit free agents at the end of next year.

You can’t grab a bloke as he’s taking his kick after taking a mark
Quote from: Rob Lannister
I thought that was more a 50m penalty at the end. Tackles the bloke behind his mark

Old mate was standing and was already well over the mark. Clear 50 champ
Quote from: Grant F
They only won due to having 3 extra players that’s the only way they got two premierships pathetic football club.
Quote from: Jack
Has there been a worse umpired half in the history of the game?
Quote from: Nick Hoggan
Nice win, AFL, secure those Tigers fan base $$$ in the finals. Bottom line must be a bit low...
Quote from: Bec Ross
With the help of the umpires! Well done to all involved!
Quote from: Kyle Burnett
So you’re not allowed to stop someone from turning into the corridor or move on the mark. But you’re allowed to step sideways and smother when the player hasn’t moved off their line. The rules committee has wrecked the game.
Quote from: Rob Lannister
Yeah watched it again. Richmond player well over the mark and then tackles. Robbed.
Quote from: Rob Lannister
Gifted their first goal after bloke was done htb and then that goal review
Quote from: Ayden
Disgraceful umpiring. Every other time the ball goes though the goal players can push others to get it through
Quote from: Subloid
Tigers were paying the umpires. There was cash involved no doubt.

I almost peeed myself from laughter at the guy who wrote ... they were paying the umpires ... there was cash involved.

It was his use of the phrase "cash involved" thats put me into laughing fits.

Its just the image of some clandestine meeting in a dark alleyway with the cash changing hands lol.

Its taken me 5 minutes to write this post

It looks like he pushed him in the back?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
