Anyone else find the Richmond segments boring as bats**t? Blah blah blah we are f****** awesome. No emotional/personal connections happening.
Quote from: lauren 🌚
legit tuned out during all their scenes and skipped the grand final part completely in the last episode 💀 think the board aspect was a pretty bad choice, would have been more personal using a player
Quote from: Jaz 🖤
Yes! There is no actual personal insight to players or anything. I actually want to skip it every time I see Richmond come up on the screen. Maybe Bulldogs would have been more interesting 🤷🏽‍♀️😬

Richmond starting the season with a win sure brings out the sookies .

Quote from: flynno_22
Will Richmond be fined/lose premiership points for rorting the new sub rule in round 1... probably not.
Will Nick Vlaustin play next week.. most definitely.

3 goals gifted vs none and ignoring their own rule when a tiger moved off the mark 55m out. How much did they win by again?

Yeah, let's take off one of our most important players to bring on Ross. If we were rorting it, we would have taken Caddy off.

What is the meaning behind 7Richmond?

Channel 7 have an Instagram page called 7afl so all the salty people say “7richmond” because their social media team chooses to highlight Dusty’s insane goal and they are immensely jealous the tigers are finally a dominant force

In response to Jon Ralph's article about Dusty and this year's Brownlow.

Here we go again, getting beyond ridiculous this.
Quote from: Platinumflyer33
Stop the arm bar he uses then see what happens - this is a deliberate push no different to any other push.
Quote from: Jaycee
99% of his possessions are in the forward half. Never gets down back to help out. As good as he is he often gets on his own because others are always helping others out. His defensive efforts are average. He doesn’t have the tank to be a true midfielder.

Richmond this year 16home games- how easy is that versus every interstate team only 11home games🎩 competition weighted in favour of Victorian Teams🎩 no other world ranked sporting competition has such bias🎩 AFL for balance shift 2games = more TV $ & less travel less cost

Quote from: My name's Janiel - Recall Basil
The evidence that VicBias is real is in Carlton v Richmond locked in to open the season forever, despite exactly zero good or memorable games, and the only memorable moment being when Cousins came back and did his hammy.

No issue with the Dangerfield suspension but I still can’t figure out how Cotchin played in the 2017 Grand Final.
Quote from: Shane
Because it was the captain of a big Melbourne club who would be missing out on a Grand Final
Quote from: KingOfCamo
Richmond & the AFL. We immediately stopped the negative PR surrounding us wearing the Away Guernsey in the GF & Cotchin was cleared. Cotch was on his last strike which meant an auto week by the rules but was overruled
Quote from: tr1p1ea
Not to mention running 30m out of his way to deliberately take our Miers, a kid, who was our best player up until that point in the game in the prelim ... Right after suspending Hawkins for exactly what Houli got off for :rollin

Quote from: Rob
Funny how’s there’s little talk about how Richmond exploited the sub rule in the first game. Bombers lost by a point could have used the fresh legs.
Quote from: Stayfrosty
Haha Richmond is the AFL darling at the moment.

16? Eagle fans have trouble understanding that most of our home games are Victorian derbies if we're comparing them to what interstate clubs like West Coast have (10 home games against interstate sides & 2 derbies).

We have just 3 home games at the 'G against interstate sides compared to the Eagles' 10,
plus 1 'home' game at Docklands against an interstate opponent,
7 home derby games at the 'G against Vic clubs,
4 away derby games at the 'G against Vic clubs,
1 away game at Docklands against a Vic club,
6 away games interstate.

In any case, we've won away interstate finals whereas the Eagles have choked at home. That's why we've won 3 flags in 4 years and they haven't.

Can’t recall a multi-premiership team that has been as completely and entirely reliant on the feats of one player as this Richmond side #nodustynoflags
Quote from: Neil Stewart
Hawks won a flag the year after Buddy left. Watch Richmond fall into a heap when Dusty eventually retires.

We lost the game, which isn't a surprise at all really considering the outs. Take away 3 of Richmond's 5 best players and give us ours back and they're not winning that one.
Quote from: Come back Cyril
It's amazing that even with rules designed to open up the game, Richmond makes it an unwatchable defensive scrap..
Quote from: HairyO
Yep. Richmond shove in every contest knowing maybe 20% will be called. Much easier than relying on a 50/50 contest.
Quote from: cryptor
Also sick of hearing about how good an aerial team Richmond is. Any team could be considered that if they were able to get away with pushing and holding as much as they were today.
