wrong, 9 and 10 will be 12 and 13.

battle, ashcroft, lombard

I don’t agree with the loss of draft order due to f/s and academy. Those players aren’t up for grabs therefore theyre not in the draft order

Well, they are, it just depends on whether the bid is matched.

We have had a few Brisbane academy players that they didn't match.

Just gotta make them pay as much as possible.

Yeah but by all reports these are rated players that will be undoubtedly picked up. Not like Cumberland or Chol who I both think were brisbanes academy ? Basically if they’re any good, they take them

Baker was keen on West Coast. Eagles repeatedly told him in meetings they would get a pick between 15-20 to get him home. Now they have nothing. Blair Hartley not keen to be involved in a pick slide using WC's pick 3. Baker would be furious. Dockers ahoy

Plenty of moving parts but Baker is frantically exploring a move to Freo given the developments which might see WC miss pick 14.  Would the Dockers give up 10 or 11 for Baker? Could they give up 10, 11 and 18 for Baker and Bolton? Those questions being asked as we speak

Richmond not interested in a pick slide with Eagles on Baker. Baker has a Plan B (Freo) that sees him as a Docker

Baker and Bolton for Picks 10, 11 and 18.

Give them a future 3rd for their future 4th to get deal over the line.

Get real Freo and get some premiership players at your club.

Both hawks and eagles screwed the players they wanted to. Agree 10,11,18 for Bolton and Baker.

Are Freo a real football club?

They traded Pick 13, Future First and Future 2nd for Luke Jackson, a ruckman of which they already had Sean Darcy.

Get real and pay 10, 11 and 18 for Bolton and Baker. Which in essence is swapping Schultz with Bolton for pick 11 and getting Baker for pick 18. Enormous win for Fremantle and Richmond get their picks for rebuild.

they have pick 26 is this where its heading.

Bakers worth that both teams were happy with was between 15 and 20.  well it should have been 14 but that is now gone.

If he goes PSD. We pick him up.

Or, a 3 way trade of

Hawks give Carlton future 1st to us
Baker to Eagles
Barrass to Hawks

14 which ends up 16. Carlton future first may end up being better than this.

Maybe try for an F2 also.

Could trade F2 to GCS to make the Rioli deal better.

I still prefer Baker and Bolton for the 3 firsts.

But could do Baker for Pick 23 and F2.

23 and Rioli for Pick 6 and 13.

Bolton for 10 and 18?

6, 10, 13 and 18 for the 3 boys. Plus 2025 WCE F2

Baker nominated the Eagles ahead of Fremantle as his preferred destination but is expected to consider whether he flips to the Dockers, who were willing to put pick No.11 on the table for the two-time flag winner.

Fremantle had been keen through the year to offer all three of its first-round picks – No.10, 11 and 18 – for Baker and teammate Shai Bolton. If Baker did shift his preference, it would break the deadlock in the Bolton deal as well allowing the triple picks to be sent to Richmond.

Baker has not wanted to leave Richmond without strong compensation for his departure, with the Hawks' trade having significant complications in that process.
