Trying to find a positive. I thought Baker was one of the few Tigers that at least had a dip tonight.

Thought he was average

Which I suppose based on tonight's effort means he was one of our best

He actually continued our player's trend of "go on media street" play average

Liam Baker is also shooting up the player rankings after a stellar start to the season, set for a pay rise after only signing a one-year deal last October.

For everything he brings to the table, Baker still has a lot of developing to do IMO.

He has played 9 games mate. Of course he has more development in him.

For a kid who is 9 games in he has been fantastic IMO. Keeping a premiership player in Butler out of the side.

Agree BT. Has done very well for a 9 gamer
Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

You have a real bent toward finding a negative don't you? The problem is, half the time it doesn't exist.

FYI, my post was in reference to the previous one from one-eyed where the Hun article was mentioned. I thought the article was a bit too ''cart before the horse''. Perhaps I should have quoted the article in my response so you could understand the context.

Yeah, he has shown heaps and I'll back in a WA boy from Lake Grace every day of the week.

To be honest I did think you were having a crack at Baker.

If you read your post in isolation, which it was, It reads like a knock on him and an unwarranted negative imo.

If it wasn’t fair enough.

Awesome game by bakes. Was sticking marks better than anyone on the field.

24 disposals (12 contested), 9 tackles and a goal....surely this weeks rising star nomination.....

Have been critical and frustrated by him the last few weeks. Especially the Freo game live

But last night was without doubt his best game for the club.

Brilliant performance

Well done young man  :thumbsup

Interesting. What frustrated you about Liam v Freo?

I have been pretty impressed by his game. Sure there has been a couple of errors, like when he got caught from behind when he should have taken off. Still learning in only his 9th game.

I was over there so saw a couple of things that didn't show on the replay. Always say what you see live -v- what we see on the TV can be very different.

Couple of times he didn't do the team thing, e.g. defensive pressure acts, not making a contest and not handballing to bloke in a better position = bit selfish

Yes not getting any of that from the small screen. Thanks WP

Baker still has some improving to do, which is good.
