Christmas wishlist AFL clubs: Santa Claus, What your club wants for Christmas

Michael Randall and Liam Twomey,
Herald Sun
21 December 2017

HO, ho, ho, it’s the festive season, so what is Santa Claus bringing your club?

Who knows, but we’ve got a fair idea what might be on their wish list.

Here’s a little guide to how Father Christmas can put a smile on the dial of each club’s fanbase.

RICHMOND TIGERS

■ Nothing, thanks Santa

Dusty re-signing on a long-term deal, winning the Brownlow, Norm Smith and then leading the Tigers to a drought-breaking premiership, followed by a super draft haul — Santa’s sleigh can skip Punt Rd in 2017.

All I want for Christmas is ...

AFL.com.au surveyed supporters of every club and we asked you what you want from your teams in the new year.

Now while everyone wants an early premiership, we compiled some different entries of what you want Santa to deliver.

The GF watch I ordered came in time for Xmas, thanks to Matilda at the club.

Thats all I wanted

I was given the Konrad Marshall book which I'm looking forward to getting into.  But I also gave my sister a GF DVD to watch - she was so pumped that she put it on immediately & the whole family sat there watching our boys win a premiership!  Oh ... & then we had lunch (at 3pm) while they handed us a big silver cup!  At least we had our priorities right - smash Adelaide first, then serve up food ...    :gotigers   :snidegrin
Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!  Loud, proud & dangerous!

I mostly just wanted the book and got it. Have had my nose in it every opportunity since Chrissy. Incredible stuff!
