Tigers have spoken to Jordan Clark

Looks a good young player from the highlights. From my perspective when we are at the top of the ladder we need to bring
in one or two good kids a year to keep us up there down the track. Clark looks a good option.

Any chance we will get this young man. He looks a good prospect and with Houli probably retiring next year we need a half back
who can direct play and get us moving. I hope we take Clark if we get the chance.

Mitch Grigg - late pick/rookie  :shh

Way tooooooo slow...makes Miles look like Bolt :shh

He'd likely just be inside depth with a late/rookie pick not first 22 on the wing...not as one dimensional as Miles either, bigger, taller, can take marks , play forward and kick goals....like the 6 he kicked in the SANFL GF on top of his 31 touches...back to back McGoo Medalist, Jack Oakley Medal (SANFL Norm Smith) and goal of the year for good measure.... at the very worst a better,  more versatile version of Matt Thomas... :shh

* We value this year's draft and want to keep our picks and add more.

* We'll draft some cheap mature age players 22+ y.o. looking for another Lambert.

* We'll draft 7 to 8 mids some of which will be mature picks.

Mids are obviouslly a priority as they should be this year  but we shouldn't be totally ignoting KPP's....apart from the lack of ruck depth we basically have no gernuine, pure KPF's outside of Riewoldt & Lynch....they're either utilities like Moore & Balta (who are both strongest down back & weakest up forward IMO though that *might* change with Balta) ,potential swingmen who are currently defenders like Garthwite (CHF as a junior) & Miller or ruck/forward types like CCJ & Chol(and we don't even know if Chol will still be here and he looks better in defence IMO anyway...)..and Soldo who's just an old-style Diplodocus ruckman a bd a very ordinary one at that.....also take into account that the footy law  of averages suggests it's a hihly unlikely that all them will even make the grade and I reckon we still need at least one more at each end - and of course another ruck.... :shh

According to wikipedia William Powell is 1.8m tall ;D.

Average height here which these days in footy is a small forward/mid  :P. As my only decent footy skill was kicking straight I'd have to stick to the goalsquare Richard Lounder style ;D.

Anyway, back on topic.

I've heard we're interested in Stocker.

Love Ian Hill but we must not draft another small forward purely as we have too many right now.  Must draft 2 tall or well built mids with 17 & 37.

Without knowing a single thing about any of these guys and just going based on their position and size listed above, Collier-Dawkins looks like the pick for me if he can slide a couple of places to 17.

I think we just take the 2 best available at our picks. No point taking players if they are no good but have size.
