There are some terrible sides this year that don't look like winning a game unless they are playing each other - St Kilda, Carlton, Brisbane and Suns. Even the Dogs are poor as they are playing a young team. Usually that means you need to win more games than usual to reach the finals and the top end of the ladder. It won't surprise me that teams will need 13 wins to play finals and possibly 16 wins to get into the top 4.

Why is the media comparing Parker's front-on collision with Impey (while the latter was bending head down to pick up the ball) to Cotch's coming from the side bump on Shiel with both going for the loose ball? They are two completely different situtations! :huh

It’s a Chinese whisper that gets embellished every time it is told. Cotch hit Shiel in the side while going for a ground ball. He didn’t hit Shiel in the head. Shiel got up holding his shoulder, played on, and later got cleaned up in an aerial contest with Astbury. He may have received whiplash in the Cotchin collision but there was absolutely nothing untoward.

Its just beautiful watching them destruct. We got 3 players and won a flag, they got 3 players and are 10 years away from anything and Worsfold has a new contract. Its just beautiful. I wonder how much of the salary cap they spent on Springer, Smith and Saad.

They actually thought they were close to a flag and with the media hyping them up as contenders :wallywink, the Dons topped up rather than addressing their needs. I remember tweeting to Rohan Connolly in December that Stringer, Smith and Saad would do nothing to solve their midfield woes and if he believed they would then he was living in fairyland. He didn't like it lol.

Welcome to reality, Bombers! :rollin

I just had a read of bomberblitz. As someone who like most of you copped it from those imbeciles, it was great reading. There not as good as us at the vitriol but they'll get there, they have years of mediocrity and practice ahead of them and they'll improve. It was good for a laugh though.
