Lol, so they only play the top nine sides once each (I spoke they are technically a top 9 side at the moment and can’t play themselves...

... but our draw was soft as butter right?

Aren’t the Dees the only top 8 team Collingwood have beaten as well? Goes to show how much a soft draw goes towards inflating your ladder position.

Yep.

Collingwood 2018:
vs Top 9:         1 - 7
vs Bottom 9:  12 - 0

And they haven't played all the top 8 sides either yet. Play Port for the first time this year this weekend.

Freo giving up like that after quarter time is a bit suss. Very convenient for them to lose by that much so their percentage fell below that of the Bulldogs and they move down a spot on the ladder and up a spot in the draft.
