AFL will do everything they can to help Melbourne win it.

They're also a very good team, way to good for Geelong so far.

They've showed him once so far  - was looking very glum....

Geelong are slow.....Melbourne look like their throats are starting get a bit tight though.....really should be 8 goals up....bit reminiscient of us at the same point in the 2013 EF.....and Geelong have more than just Judd..... :shh

What do you reckon Chris Scott will say in his press conference?

Geelong's record in finals since 2012 is 3-9  :lol.

Dangerfield, Ablett & Duncan had shockers tonight by foot. Turnover merchants in finals :yep. Dangerfield has to be the most overrated footballer. Goes missing in finals both with Adelaide and Geelong :yep.

What's Bruce on tonight by the way?

"Geelong has been the best last quarter team all year." ... yeah right, Bruce :lol.

"Melbourne can win the flag." ..... why because they beat an overrated ageing top up Geelong team that went backwards this year and just scraped into 8th spot  :lol.

Duncan played the worst 10 minutes of football I've ever seen from an individual.....and I watched JON nearly every week at Coburg... :shh

....Geelong basically out-choked Melbourne....there were times in that second half they were dominating them and if they'd kicked just one or two more around the time Hawkins had his shot from 20 m in front taken off him, reckon Melbourne would've fallen in a heap..... :shh :shh

Sometimes a win against a nemesis can take the monkey of the back and give you a lot of belief a bit like us last year, once we beat Geelong the shackles were off and there was no stopping us.

Melbourne were what, 5 goals to 3/4 time against a putrid side? I thought whoever won would have a free swing against the Hawks next week but they had a much better first half half than anything ether of these teams showed for the entire game. Dees were outscored for the last three quarters and Geelong are garbage.

EXcept we hadn't beaten Geelong since 2006 and they'd been flogging us for 35 years...Melbourne have beaten them a few times in recent years , even down at Kardinia Park.... :shh

Once from their past 17 meetings.

I agree with Tigiritis, they’ll take a lot of momentum from tonight.

They’re the next fairytale so the AFL will be frothing over it. Plus they actually play very good football when they get out of their own heads.

Knew it going into the clash as it had been splashed everywhere in the media.

Could definitely see the Hawks winning it, you miss my point so I’ll repeat it for the 4th time in 18 hours.

Melbourne’s best is better than all of the other contenders and therefore should be a concern IMO.
