Well we now who was right and who was wrong

I thought I had learned my lesson questioning the club.

Still think Lloyd is a nothing player.
There has to be better options?

What I meant was is he has to be well down the pecking order when we have injuries.

Well we now who was right and who was wrong

Came on to admit I was wrong but what I said was:
If we lose to Melbourne it will be because of the midfield.
To lose two hard nuts in Caddy and Graham (and Dusty just going, for him) and replace them with Lloyd and Higgins is not just stupid but totally arrogant.

If we lose it will be solely down to Hardwick.
Obviously we didn't lose so.....

I still maintain that Miles would have been a better choice than Lloyd but it's only an opinion that can't be proved one way or another.

And if we win?
Then I'll be wrong and our midfield will have stood up big time.
Think our midfield did stand up big time and was really impressed by the work done by the small forwards and backs to help out through the middle was the most impressive thing.
Don't know whether that's just me looking so closely at that area but it appeared there was more support than usual this year from player like Grimes, Ellis, Butler and Castagna.
Was also impressed with the amount of time Higgins spent in the midfield and didn't look out of place.

Well done RT.

Takes a big person to come back and say that.

Respect. :clapping

Hmmmm I don’t think he actually admitted he was wrong, in fact I think he has argued that what he said in the first place was right.

All this "admitting I was wrong" stuff has been great - but decidedly lacking in the Reece Conca thread. Thats were you really repent for your sins.

I think it is a bit early to be going down that path, if he manages a minimum of 3/4 of a season then we can revisit

Okay Chucky how's this.
I was wrong in my suggestion/claim that the midfield was not strong enough to counter Melbourne.
