Also I rhink we can safely say that the Grigg as second ruck tactic has well & truly outlived its usefulness..,..:shh

No resting for this game, need to get a 10 year run of wins before we can slack off

Let's not kid ourselves, Townsend was useless for three quarters... :shh
I agree. He wasn’t adding pressure at all in our f50 and laid only 1 tackle. Not good enough really. Needs to do better  than that. He did help take out Howe which was good.
The club that keeps giving.

I just think with Macintosh and Townsend in the side, we are a lot tougher and harder side to play against.
Compare them to Menadue and Moore and it’s basically comparing boys to men. And come finals time, I know who I would rather in a big, tight close game.

It’s time to start settling our side for finals.

No change unless butler, graham or bachar are ready to return which from the sounds of it is not gonna happen this week.

McIntosh is becoming a liabilty. Kicks it to no-one, sells teammmates into trouble, no awareness, overruns the ball , fumbles. panics, turns it over, falls over, can't mark and how is a man of his size such a peeweak tackler?

Townsend stays.

Thought B Ellis and McIntosh were poor.

Baker has the goods but is too raw.

Miss Butler's pace and Graham's toughness but if they aren't ready that's a shame.

Would be happy to see Lloyd or Miles get a run instead of Baker, Mac and B Ellis.

I agree that McIntosh has been passed. I also think that whilst Baker showed signs he is another preseason away and probably needs to
play another half season in the reserves before he gets another shot.

Townsend was a good foil to jack yesterday and will be better for the run.

The pressure yesterday was off the charts, Baker and Towner get another run for mine.

Only change maybe Prestia if he is too sore

Watched the replay this morning and Towner was giving Moore a footy lesson in the 1st qtr, funnily enough once Howe went off and Moore went to Jack, Towner slowed down. Did a lot of good things Towner, smart footballer. Will keep his spot. Baker just depends if Butler, Houli or Graham get up, youd think we'll probably err on the side of caution and not rush anyone back so baker probably plays again

Just finished watching the replay and Townsend was good yesterday imo. His first and last quarters were really good... His hardness can not be ignored but he is more than just hard, he is smart.
His block for Jack to take a mark and kick a goal early in the last doesn’t get a stat but is important.

Macintosh was good too. 20 touches and 4 tackles is decent stats for a wingman.
