Have to agree here... Ross has played 1 good game out of 6. So much promise from his first game against the dees a few years back. Just hasn't adjusted to the game. Looks.like a VFL player when the game is up for grabs. Would rather see sonsie stink it up.

Blows my mind into a million pieces this guy has more than RCD.

Must be dropped for RCD, Pickett, Sonsie. My word.
Go Tigers!

RCD is not the answer, there both average at best and skills aren't up to it.

Banks and Sonsie should come in.

we have seen this game from ross before. Means sfa and in fact i dont even think he played well at all.

Handballing to players who were hot is usual ross stuff.

Lets see him crap the bed next week.

What’s the point of this post? It’s like your wanting to see him play bad (to the detriment of your team btw) just to let out a big old I told ya so.

Please. Ross is Ross and until he plays consistent football then he will be critiqued. If he produces good solid footy, like his other teammates have done for many years then guess what it will stop.

I have seen him play descent game, and tonight i thought was okay not great.

To those who wanted to kiss Ross feet after last week then I hope you are reading this.

It was 💯 accurate

He belongs at one level.

Didn’t wait long to toot your own horn did ya? Any other obvious calls you’ve made you’d like to bring up?

Nobody was kissing his feet. Just recognising that he had a good game last week. Just like after tonight’s game I will say that he was very poor.

Probably not but far out I'd like to see RCD will the chances Ross has had.

Same.

I know there are a few who are saying RCD won't make it but how will we ever know if he doesn't get a decent run of games?

Ross has been given many chances. RCD deserves the same

Actually it was just wrong thwt RDC was dropped after the WCE game. He deserved to hold his spot TBH. It appears for whatever reason the MC will not play RCD and Cotchin in the same side. Which is puzzling as Dimma keeps saying they see RCD taking over the Cotchin role  :huh3

I’m not a fan of giving VFL players a chance unless they deserve it by showing consistently good performances at the lower level.
That said, If it means we don’t see Ross again then I’m coming around.
Bring in RCD and give him the same opportunities that Ross was given and see how he turns out but only if it means I don’t see Ross in our jumper again.  :rollin

RCD had 9 games last year so he has had his chances. 14 possies on Friday arvo.

If Ross is nor up to it RCD is not the answer.

Ross has played 38 games

RCD has played 11

RCD should be given the same opportunities that Ross has been afforded. He clearly hasn't

I just want to see him in more than 11 games before saying he's "had his chances"

I didn't watch Friday's VFL game but I do know the week before they had him playing on the ruck to give Ryan a chop out. I think we all would agree RCD isn't ruckman

I'm not huge on being black and white on VFL form. Certainly helps.

But if it VFL team was getting belted and not getting decent ball to our forwards doesn't mean that we don't pick any forwards the following week. But agree in I'd be loving RCD to be ripping up VFL just don't think it always has to be that way.

Nah Dimma would rather gift games to a guy that continually fails in big moments and is a turnover king.  Ross is the very definition of a VFL player that will never be good enough for AFL level.

hmm have not seen the game and have no intention of watching it. Going by reports and comments here it seems Ross had ANOTHER ORDINARY GAME.

That is the real point id say.
Lots of ordinary games and his good ones are usually just passable games at a level he he needs to be at all the time.

What id like people to acknowledge is that at best we have an average player to date and we should NOT be pinning our hpoes on him becoming a top liner for us.
If Ross RC-D Dow Martyn are nothing but average then we are in a world of trouble when the big boys are gone and we all know it won't be too long before they are gone.

This is not something that has suddenly raised its ugly head its been there right along along with the dearth of GENUINE KPP'S we have had.

Dont know how many times some supporters have been calling out for bigger better mids and talls to be drafted.

As i have consistently conceded to win three flags they had to get an awful lot right THAT MEANS MOST THINGS  but they have also got more than enough wrong imo and list management in these areas is one of them.

There is no such thing as ‘awful lot wrong’ when it comes to winning 3 flags. Have they seemingly drafter some busts? Sure, but that comes with the territory of having higher draft picks by virtue of winning flags making the kids picked up far less of a sure thing. Of the 4 you named, Ross was pick 43, RCD was pick 20, Dow was pick 21 and Martyn was pick 44. Hardly top end draft picks.
