Robbed all night they were.

How about the clear push in the back to Francis not paid.  :banghead

Anyone know if grimes trained this week? Someone here usually reports from training

I feel he misses

Essendon were rubbish.

If I didn't know better I'd have thought they were throwing the game...

Well the Bombers left out Heppell, Stringer, Hooker & Fantasia. Not a sign of a club wanting to win that game ::).

After quarter time, Collingwood were able to shut down Essendon's rebound off half-back and scoring.

Robbed all night they were.

How about the clear push in the back to Francis not paid.  :banghead
Add Treloar's throw "handballs"  ::).

It's the inconsistency. If they let it go for both sides then fair enough. However, Collingwood receive umpire charity virtually every week.

Geelong thumping the Blues. So if we can win tomorrow then we'll most likely be playing them in a QF.

Not a great result if hawks get up IMO.

Lose and we drop to 5th

Win and we head up to the Gabba for the lions. Our record is great up there but that was the lions of old.

If the Hawks keep this up, we'll be playing Brisbane again (but at the Gabba) if we beat the Lions tomorrow.

Edit: Beat me to it, Franky.

Also if the Hawks win, I wonder if Chris Scott will spend the next fortnight whinging about playing the Pies at the 'G in a Qualifying Final like he has for the past two months about the possibility of playing us  ::). He seems to only go on a sook about this when it's about Richmond because of what happened in 2017 :nopity.

The one positive is if we get to a Prelim either way it will be at the 'G.

Beat Brisbane at the Gabba -> Automatic home Prelim at the 'G.
Lose -> Semi-Final at the 'G -> Prelim at the 'G vs winner of Geel/Coll.

True but that will most likely be a semi against dogs then another Melbourne team in a prelim

Rather eagles win and we play off for a prelim against the cats should we beat cats

Eagles are playing rubbish can't see them winning at this stage

Cheer more Hawk goals now and hope West Coast doesn't score anymore. Eagle % is now almost equal with us.

That's true. The loser of the 2nd vs 3rd QF plays the winner of the 6th vs 7th EF. If the Dogs win tomorrow then they'll finish 7th and play the Giants away. So we could most likely play the Dogs in a SF  :-\.

It was a blow out in the making. The eagles showed they were a top 4 side for most of the year. The bombers barely scraped into the 8. But hey, It’s their injuries that’s why they suck right?

Essendon's so called "big game" players - Stringer, Shiel, Fantasia, etc have had mares. Exposed under finals pressure.

What's the joke going around:

"I love finals time. You get to see all the best teams play ...

and Essendon."
