Essendon were rubbish.

If I didn't know better I'd have thought they were throwing the game...

Well the Bombers left out Heppell, Stringer, Hooker & Fantasia. Not a sign of a club wanting to win that game .

After quarter time, Collingwood were able to shut down Essendon's rebound off half-back and scoring.

Add Treloar's throw "handballs"  .

It's the inconsistency. If they let it go for both sides then fair enough. However, Collingwood receive umpire charity virtually every week.

Win and we head up to the Gabba for the lions. Our record is great up there but that was the lions of old.

If the Hawks keep this up, we'll be playing Brisbane again (but at the Gabba) if we beat the Lions tomorrow.

Also if the Hawks win, I wonder if Chris Scott will spend the next fortnight whinging about playing the Pies at the 'G in a Qualifying Final like he has for the past two months about the possibility of playing us  . He seems to only go on a sook about this when it's about Richmond because of what happened in 2017 .

That's true. The loser of the 2nd vs 3rd QF plays the winner of the 6th vs 7th EF. If the Dogs win tomorrow then they'll finish 7th and play the Giants away. So we could most likely play the Dogs in a SF  .

Stringer going for worst performance ever in a final tonight.

It was a blow out in the making. The eagles showed they were a top 4 side for most of the year. The bombers barely scraped into the 8. But hey, It’s their injuries that’s why they suck right?

Essendon's so called "big game" players - Stringer, Shiel, Fantasia, etc have had mares. Exposed under finals pressure.
