This deliberate out of bounds rule has all of a sudden become very subjective. Is it deliberate when you are in a contest? Surely the sport allows you to spoil or stop your opponent from taking possession. The force you use to spoil the ball should not be a consideration... Right???

Baker to Higgins inside 50. Pack mark to Port 25 out.

Poor kick back to Floss. Inside 50. Caddy brings it down as a loose ball but Port clear.

Point to Port.

74 - 66

It's not deliberate in a contest. Ump was a moron. Sucked in by the crowd.

Stoppage in their forward line and they get a marking free in the pocket. Goal to them.

Being Reviewed. Ellis claiming it hit the post.

Called a goal.

74 - 72

It’s not deliberate in a marking contest. That was definitely deliberate and a bone head move by kmac. Cost us 2 goals and all momentum.

Prestia fumbles to Graham .. kick smothered... Has another go but Port clear out of the middle. Stoppage. Free to Port. Stack marks it deep in defence with a minute to go.

Siren.

Port Adel.    4.1    7.3    11.6-72

His opponent should’ve been pinged for front on contact as he didn’t have eyes for the ball amd played the man only. Terrible decision by the ump.  :banghead

Both teams have kicked two goals from free kicks this quarter. They combined to kick 11 goals from this source in the first three rounds.

Port have conceded five goals from 12 inside 50s this quarter.

Half of Richmond's score has come from clearances.

Both teams have won seven clearances this quarter and kicked two goals from this source.

Port in front in the contested footy now (108-114) but we're still on top in the clearances (30-24).

We've had 9 more inside 50s (42 - 33).

Leading disposals getters:
Ellis 26
Ross 21
Lambert 21
Prestia   19
Sheds  18
Higgins 16
Baker 14
Nank 12

Classic Brandon Ellis WING performance. All it took was moving him back, keeping him there and letting him gain confidence.

Confidence is the most important thing in footy

Port go forward at the start of last but Grimes clears it for a throw-in.

Floss mark on D50. To Astbury. Goes short to Kmac still at HB. To Grimes. to Kmac who goes back to Sheds. Still haven't gone forward. To the wing. Free to Port.

Grimes stands his ground against Wines and marks. Goes short to Graham. Outside D50 but Port get it. Port go back. Both sides reluctant to pull the trigger.

Floss intercepts. George to Menadue good kick to Lambert to Ross inside 50. Rioli gets the free 35 out. Misses  :scream.

75 - 72

Need to take our chances  :scream
